I am an artist currently thriving in Northern Alabama with my supportive husband and my best studio partner, Sadie, my beloved golden doodle. Embracing my childhood passion to create art in 2021, after becoming an empty nester, has been an empowering experience. I draw inspiration from memories, feelings, nature, people, and the world around me. As a wanderer and daydreamer, I seek ways to express my emotions through painting, making connections, and reveling in the joy of creating.

Bio
Lisa is a contemporary artist who creates both representational art and abstract paintings. Her skillful use of oil paint, featuring vibrant colors combined with a tenderness of soft tones, thoughtfully seeks to capture deep feelings and foster meaningful connections. This artistic process serves as her unique way to connect with others and communicate emotions or ideas that she finds difficult to express with words alone. Her artwork draws inspiration from her personal thoughts, feelings, and the way she perceives and experiences the world around her. Through her work, she aims to invite viewers into a reflective space where they can pause, think deeply, and wonder about the stories and emotions conveyed. Currently, Lisa is continuing to develop her craft as a dedicated student enrolled in the Painting Certificate program at Rhode Island School of Design.
